So before this brand was a brand, it was one woman solving a fit problem, which is why we take face shape more personally than most.
Here's the honest version of the face shape guide: which frames flatter what, why, and the exact TiNK frame for each, with real measurements, because "medium fit" means nothing.
First: find your face shape (60 seconds)
Pull your hair back, look in a mirror, and check three things: the widest point of your face, the length relative to width, and the jawline.
Round: widest at the cheeks, soft jaw, length roughly equal to width.
Oval: gently longer than wide, softly tapered jaw, balanced proportions.
Square: forehead, cheeks, and jaw all similar width; defined, angular jawline.
Heart: widest at the forehead, tapering to a pointed chin.
Between two shapes? Most people are. Read both sections and go with the frame that solves your actual complaint (slipping, pinching, "swallows my face").
Round face: add angles
The rule: your frame should do what your face doesn't, which is create lines. Angular, geometric frames are the classic counterweight to soft features; round frames on a round face just add more circle.

Oval is the "everything suits you" shape, which is a trap: it usually leads to defaulting to the most boring frame on the wall. Balanced proportions mean you can carry the shapes other people are scared of.

Square face: keep the strength, soften the math
A defined jaw is an asset. The goal isn't to hide it, it's to not repeat it. Boxy, hard-square frames stacked on a square jaw read severe. Narrow frames and softened geometry keep the edge without the echo.

Heart face: balance the taper
Wide forehead, narrow chin: the play is frames that sit low-profile and don't add width up top. Slim lens heights and lighter visual weight keep everything in proportion; oversized top-heavy frames exaggerate the taper.

Do face shape rules actually matter? They're a starting point, not a law. If you love a frame, the confidence does more for your face than the geometry ever will. Rules are for people who need permission.
What if I'm between shapes? Prioritize fit complaints over categories. Frames slipping? Go narrower (COCO, MANDI). Features disappearing? Go bolder (KAY, LUCI).
What's the most universal TiNK frame? LUCI. Hexagonal geometry flatters nearly everyone: angular enough for soft faces, softened enough for angular ones.
