KAY'S SOUND: melodic techno & progressive house.
KAY Bellini micro triangle rave sunglasses, front view

KAY

TiNK's debut collection and the beginning of the Rave Stage. I wanted something that looked like nothing else out there, so KAY came out sharp, born under strobe lights and basslines. That triangle became the TiNK bug, the little mark that dots the 'i' in our logo, so KAY is quite literally the shape of the brand.

LUCI'S SOUND: indie electronic

LUCI

LUCI is our second frame and the one that opened the Luxe Stage - our everyday line. I wanted to stretch the brand somewhere more wearable and prove the two stages could sit that far apart and still feel like TiNK. She came from a lot of indie electronic, all nostalgia layered over something modern and edgy. Calm without being quiet. She's the go-anywhere, be-anyone frame: after party, brunch, festival, Tuesday. LUCI is easy to wear, never basic.

MOLLI'S SOUND: melodic deep house

MOLLI

MOLLI came out of a period where everything in my life was changing. I was deep in self-exploration and deep in melodic house: the kind of music you'd belt out with your best friend at 2pm or 2am. It felt like chasing an endless summer. I was also permanently 'borrowing' a pair of my friend's sunglasses at the time. They were gold frames, pink lenses, funky in the best way. MOLLI is that feeling and those frames, made properly.

MANDI'S SOUND: underground minimal

MANDI

MANDI came from a much darker, grungier night out at SASH, one of my all-time favorite parties. Underground minimal and acid house, played low and mean, the sort of night you don't fully remember but never forget. MANDI is that in a frame. Understated on purpose, not remotely innocent.

COCO'S SOUND: afro house, but cooler

COCO

It was a random night out with my girlfriends and there was a girl DJing who was just effortlessly, unshakeably cool. She was running the whole room without ever looking like she was trying. She was playing afro house, a genre all of us normally skip, but she played it so well we couldn't leave. It was entrancing, warm, and hypnotic. If afro house had a cooler older sister, she'd be COCO.
